Star Grazer Privacy & Support

Last updated: September 28, 2026

Star Grazer has no accounts and nothing you type is sent to us. The game is free because it shows ads from Google AdMob, which receives some information about your device in order to serve them. This page explains exactly what, and the choices you have.

What we collect ourselves

Nothing. Your progress — your best scores, your bank of grazes, level, unlocked ships and engine trails, missions and daily-gift streak — is saved on your own device. We do not run servers that receive data from the game.

iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, that same progress is kept in sync between your devices through your own iCloud account. Apple stores it under Apple's Privacy Policy; we cannot see it. Turn it off at any time in Settings → [your name] → iCloud.

Advertising

Star Grazer shows two kinds of ad, and never during play:

Ads are served by Google AdMob. To choose and measure them, AdMob receives your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking — see below), general device information such as model, operating system version and language, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with the ads. This goes to Google, not to us. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Your choice about tracking

The first time a run ends, iOS asks whether Star Grazer may track your activity across other companies' apps and websites.

You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. In the EU, the UK and Switzerland you will first see a consent screen from Google asking how your data may be used for advertising.

In-app purchases

Star Grazer offers optional purchases: No Ads (removes the between-run ads; the optional videos stay available because you choose them), a Supporter Pack, and packs of grazes for cosmetic items. Payments are handled entirely by Apple — we never receive your payment details. Nothing you can buy affects difficulty or the leaderboards.

Reminders

If you allow notifications, the game schedules a reminder on your device when your daily gift is ready. These are created on your phone, not sent from a server, and you can turn them off in Settings → Notifications.

Game Center is optional

If you sign in to Game Center, Star Grazer submits your best score and your daily challenge score to the leaderboards and records achievements. That exchange is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy, and we never see your Game Center account details. If you decline to sign in, the whole game still works.

Sharing

When you tap Share, the game creates an image of your result and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes next is up to you; nothing is sent to us.

Children's privacy

Star Grazer is a general-audience game. Its content is suitable for all ages, but it is not in the App Store's Kids category, is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has been shown personalised ads in this app, contact us at the address below and we will address it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the updated version on this page with a new date.
